Juspreet has developed specialist skills over the years as reflected in the two main areas of her private practice.

Children & Family, Adoption, Fostering & SGO
Juspreet has a breadth of experience in child and family mental-health services, working with children across the age span into adolescence and early adulthood. She is skilled in providing individual therapy to children as well as offering parenting support to parents around their child’s or their own needs. Juspreet works with a wide range of presentations related to behavioral and emotional difficulties, or other factors impacting a family’s well-being, such as significant life events, loss and bereavement, transitions and relational difficulties. This includes presentations such as depression, anxiety, OCD, complex trauma, neurodevelopmental presentations (such as ADHD and Autism) and challenging behaviours at home or at school. Juspreet has a particular interest and expertise in working with children with attachment difficulties and families facing complex or trauma-related challenges. Juspreet also offers therapeutic parenting and family focused support to enhance parent-child relationships through attachment and trauma focused therapies, and is experienced at supporting the systems around young people and families, such as schools and other professionals involved in the young person’s care.
Juspreet has a great deal of specialist expertise in supporting adoptive and foster families, having worked at a specialist adoption agency for 7 years. She is trained in specialist therapeutic interventions for this client group, such as Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) and Theraplay, both of which are effective therapies for attachment and relational based challenges. Juspreet also offers Therapeutic Life Story work to help children and families to make sense of previous experiences that may be continuing to impact emotions, behaviours and relationships.
Adult, Parenting & Perinatal
The second part of Juspreet’s practice focuses on psychological therapies for adults. Juspreet has worked across a range of adult mental health services from NHS services to third sector, private clinical practice and independent services including an in-house psychology service for corporate clients in the City of London. Juspreet is therefore experienced in providing therapy to adults navigating a wide range of emotional, psychological and relational challenges. This includes psychological support around difficulties such as anxiety and depression, panic, social anxiety, low self-esteem, phobias, stress, trauma including early childhood trauma, grief and loss, OCD, neurodiversity, sleep difficulties, to relationship difficulties, significant life transitions/events, as well as difficulties linked to working in high pressure corporate settings such as burnout, imposter syndrome, workplace performance anxiety and many more.
Juspreet works with parents at all stages of the parenting journey around their own emotional well-being and mental health needs, having worked across CAMHS parenting services to more specialist adoption and neonatal services. Juspreet offers a space to reflect on experiences that
may be impacting, such as the transition to parenthood, how their own history and early experiences of being parented may be being triggered or interplaying with their parenting and impacting the relationship with their child. Juspreet can also provide psychological therapies around processing difficult or traumatic experiences such as neonatal or birth trauma experiences, perinatal loss or having support around challenges such as health anxiety, postnatal depression or OCD. Juspreet will work collaboratively with you around your goals whether that be around; identifying and changing patterns you feel are getting in the way of the relationship you’d like with your child; having a space to process difficult or traumatic experiences; or a safe space to explore emotions and experiences impacting you as a parent.
